For size 5 you will get about 30 diapers for .37 each for Pampers and Huggies at .00 for a Jumbo pack.

LUVS size 5 Jumbo pack of 30 diapers is .28 (each diaper) at .49 per pack.

For Extra Large Packages, LUVS are cheaper running about a box for sizes 3,4, and 5.

LUVS Extra Large Boxes run just a few cents cheaper than Pampers about .18 - .24 cents each.

Pampers Extra Large Boxes are about a box about .21 - .28 cents each.

LUVS and Pampers give you about 30-40 more diapers than Huggies Extra Large box at about .23 - .29 each.

So how can you beat these prices?

There are several ways:

Save your coupons!

If you haven't been saving your coupons you can buy them at a very low cost.

Another way to save is to comparison shop online. You can sign up to receive money back for your purchases and use discount codes at 1800diapers, etc.

CVS will even let you use regular diaper coupons for pull-ups and pull-ups coupons for diapers and Goodnights, plus you can receive extra care bucks at at CVS.

Walmart usually has the best prices and they will beat competitor ads.

Honestly, most new parents, especially dads, have no idea that there is a certain type, size and brand for each stage of their baby's life until they get to the store and look at the huge selection before them in the grocery store aisle.

The most popular brands of diapers are Pampers, Huggies and Luvs. Most of the time you can choose the brand based on what you hear from friends, the design or most importantly your budget. Buying the most expensive diaper does not necessarily mean that it is in fact the best diaper for your baby.

When you register for your baby a smart thing to do is register for a few small packs of diapers in different brands so you can try each one out on your baby and see which seems to work the best on their body type to prevent leaks, rashes, etc. Make sure that when you register for diapers that you register for either preemie or newborn sized diapers. Nothing is worse than a diaper that is too tight around your baby's belly or thighs or one that will not stay on because it is too large.

Ask your friends which ones they prefer and try a few out the first few weeks home from the hospital to find the perfect diaper match for you and your baby.
